Miles Lewis Talks Rebounding Small-Caps on CNBC.com

Miles Lewis discusses why he believes we’re entering a small-cap leadership cycle.

PM Miles Lewis was recently featured in the CNBC.com article, “Small caps are poised to outperform in 2024. A value investor offers five stocks to buy,” penned by Brian Evans, that looked at the promising prospects for certain small-caps as we head into 2024, “even if the economy slips into a recession.”

The article quoted Miles, who said, “We think a recession, or a slowdown and a lot of the bad news people are worried about is largely priced into small caps… We believe that we are at the end of one of these cycles where large is leading small.” Although small-caps underperformed large-caps in 2023, Miles opined that “We still think all the pieces are in place for a big rally in the asset class.”

He then went on to talk about five holdings that have his long-term confidence going forward.
